Xero Me for employees – Xero Central - About payroll user roles
Log into Xero. If you access Xero already, click the Payroll tab, then select Xero Me. What's next? Once you have access to Xero Me, you can request leave and record your time on a timesheet. If an employee is responsible for payroll, give them the payroll administrator role so they can set up payroll, process pay runs, and manage employees. Set up your employee's email address and invite them to view their payroll information in Xero Me formerly My Payroll. You can remove an employee's access to Xero Me so they can't see their payroll information through the employee portal. If they don't have any other user permissions, this also deletes their Xero user role.
If the employee no longer works for your company, they have 14 days from the termination date to access their Xero Me account. After this, they need to contact you if they need any extra information.
